Jessica Romero is a Mental Performance Coach and Mental Health Advocate with years of experience working with athletes from Youth to Pro, performers on and off the stage, and students and parents of all ages and backgrounds. Jessica has a Masters Degree from Cal Baptist University (CBU) in Sport and Performance Psychology and is currently leading our Mental Health and Wellness workshops, programs and sessions.
Mental Wellness affects how we think, feel, and act as we cope with life. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Especially for our student-athletes, a focus on Mental Health and Wellness can not only help during trainings, practices and games, but in the classroom, during tests, presentations and heavy assignments too.
"Me and We" is our signature when it comes to our Mental Health and Wellness department. We believe that together, we can help make the world go round and that "we" is certainly not possible without "me" being one's full and best self, first.
The "Note to Self..." blog and blog stories were created by the "Me and We" team to support all Mental Health and Wellness needs. Through the use of quotes, illustrations, & personal experiences, we share tips and tricks on how to make life that much easier and happier.
